Enter the Ring: Major Contender Gaming, an Esports Team Concept

Saturday mornings in my apartment are a special time because the League of Legends EMEA Championship (LEC) is on. The LoL competitive scene has been a big interest for me for several years as a fan, player, and designer. I have been inspired by graphic elements for MSI 2022, the LEC main stage, and teams like 100Thieves and G2. I took that inspiration and passion for gaming and created my own concept esports team:

Major Contender

Major Contender, MC Gaming, combines various assets of what I love most about gaming: fantasy, competition, bold design, and visual storytelling.

Isolated front and back of the primary jersey concept, along with a secondary design concept. The secondary concept explores the themes of fantasy and warfare a little more literally and is meant to resemble structured plates of armor, specifically a chest guard.
